With 200 posts, I don’t think I’ve posted a story like this yet.  There are rumors circulating that French President Nicolas Sarkozy and First Lady Carla Bruni are both having affairs on each other.  Even if true, it probably won’t matter because the people of France don’t view fidelity the way we do in the U.S.

Anyway, it’s a crazy story.  Bruni is allegedly having an affair with Benjamin Biolay, a musician, and Sarkozy allegedly retaliated by Chantal Jouanno, the French Karate Champion.  Extremely weird.

Both Bruni and Sarkozy have quite the Soap Opera Marriage…

It is the first time since Bruni and Sarkozy met at a Paris dinner party in November 2007 that there have been suggestions the marriage is in crisis.

For several months after their whirlwind romance and marriage three months later, regular reports predicted the marriage would only last as long as Sarkozy remained President.

Bruni’s now notorious remark that she is “easily bored by monogamy” is also frequently quoted by the media.

But not until now has any otherwise creditable news source repeated internet rumours that either of them was cheating.

Sarkozy and Bruni have both been widely rumoured to have had affairs in the past.

Bruni — whose string of previous lovers includes Mick Jagger, Eric Clapton and Donald Trump — is said to have started a relationship with writer Jean-Paul Enthoven, before dumping him for his philosopher son Raphael.

After having a son, Aurelien, in 2001, Raphael then left Bruni stating he felt she was “uncommitted to the relationship”.

Sarkozy is reported to have had an affair with second wife Cecilia Ciganer-Albaniz while married to his first wife Marie-Dominique Culioli — the mother of his two sons.

He then married Ciganer-Albaniz, but they split during his presidential election campaign in 2007 when she started having an affair with US publicist Richard Attais.

Meet Melinda Dennehy. Dennehy is a 41 year old high school teacher that likes to send naked pics to 15 year old boys. Forget the fact that she is married, sending naked pics is never a good idea, especially when you are an adult that should know better. We all know that there’s no such thing as sexting between two people. It ALWAYS gets out and in this case it circulated aroud the school. What else do you expect from a 15 year old male with a picture of a naked English teacher?

Apparently she also solicited him for sex and kissed him in the mouth.

Dennehy is looking at 7 years upon conviction.

Meet Scott Schmidt.  Schmidt is a former firefighter.  He shot and killed his “estranged wife” (I don’t know whether they were going through divorce or just having problems) three times in the head on Apriil 17 outside their home.  He’s now in court and defended himself on the basis that he was trying to prevent his wife from committing adultery.  The victim, Kelly Wing Schmidt was on her way to meet with a man at a hotel.  Scott says that prosecutors don’t take adultery seriously, so he decided to take matters into his own hand (literally).

Again, I don’t know their status because it says “estranged wife.” All I know is that she didn’t deserve this.

Yes, you read the title right.  I didn’t mean canned or coned, they were canned with a rattan cane.  According to the article, this is the first time that the law has been enforced.  I guess we should be thankful that Malaysia is only a “moderate Muslim country.”  Sheesh.

…for me to forgive my wife for cheating on me with 200 people.  I don’t care if I am a preacher.  I’m gone if my significant other cheats once.  Props to my little brother for telling me about this.

…but its pretty entertaining.  It’s a scandalous story of a high profile couple in the 19th Century that is filled with adultery, love lust, and lies. I now present to you the Governor William Sprague IV story. If you like what you see, I suppose you can pick up the highly expensive book.

The "Happy" Couple

A week ago, I posted about how lots of women were signing up for a married website for cheaters called Illicit Encounters.  Now IE is saying that the surge was not due to the snowstorm, but due to a change in attitudes amongst women.  Which is it?

Meet U.S. woman Nancy Kissel who lives in Hong Kong

Kissel killed her husband Robert by placing sedatives in his strawberry milkshake (I hope it wasn’t from Chick-Fil-A because that would have been a waste of a perfectly good milkshake).  She then finished the job by using an ornament (I’m guess not the Christmas kind).

Kissel was sentenced to life in prison.  Her case is now on appeal as her attorneys are saying that there was a breach of evidentiary rules.

And of course there was a lover involved.   The lover is a TV repairman in the United States.  Classy.

Kissel stood to gain $18 million in insurance payouts by the death of her husband.

Life must really suck for Peter Robinson right now.  Last week, I posted about how his wife subjected him to an embarassing affair with a 19-year-old.  Now the head of the Irish political leader has decided to step down for 6 weeks to “to deal with family matters.” See what infidelity does people?
