For every man WITH a nanny that cheats, I bet I can find 5 men WITHOUT a nanny that cheats.  Nevertheless, Dr. Dennis Friedman posits that the mother/nanny dichotomy could create a subconscious feeling with children that mothers have a social and sexual position while another women is needed to fill some other role. I think people think too hard on this issue.

A reader asks in the “Dear Margo” column whether adultery is genetic because the men in her fiance’s family have a legacy of cheating.  The answer to this one is obvious.  People learn from their environment.  If a man sees his father beat on his mother, he may think this is the way to treat a woman.   And that’s exactly what Margo said:

I think relatively few behaviors are genetic. Because straying is often multigenerational within families, it is assumed by some that it’s “in the blood.’’ But I think, rather, such conduct is communicated, if not sanctioned, either subtly or overtly. I can’t imagine any father saying to a son, “M’boy, marriage vows are just a piece of paper.’’ I think what happens is that the behavior becomes known either through deduction, observation, or gossip. A son sees his mother put up with it and assumes his wife will.

I always feel uneasy about mixing my blogging life with my professional life.  I’m currently looking for a job after I graduate from law school in May.  I always want to tell people about the Manogamy Movement (after all it takes up a lot of my time), but in the end I usually don’t.

It wasn’t until today that I felt that prospective employers needed to know that the Manogamy Movement is a part of who I am.  Consequently, I added my blog to my Linkedin Profile.

I believe in the work that I am doing and I have plenty of supporters.  There’s no turning back for me.  I realize that with my work on the MM, I can NEVER cheat for the rest of my life.  I accepted that a while ago.  I will not and cannot stop working on this project.  My future wife AND employer will have to accept this.

Watch the video below for a documentary on sex addiction by Winston Bennett, a former NBA player.  He talks about how he’s had sex with 90 different women in a month, how he cheated the day after his marriage, etc.

Where there’s smoke there’s fire.  That’s why I don’t understand the sex addict argument.  You don’t become a sex addict after you get married.  There’s a certain negligence that has to come with that.  Tiger’s wife is still a victim, but how do you not know that you’re husband is a sex addict (if such thing exists)?

According to Bennett, it’s natural for men to want to have sex and they will find a way whether it means having sex during the day or watching porn.  Given his concession, I don’t really see how we can classify his condition as an addition. Counselling didn’t appear to help his cause.

So what seems to be the solution?  Finding God and having people to hold him liable. That’s exactly why liability is the first part of L.O.V.E. You’ve got to hold yourself accountable and have people to hold you accountable. You can’t cheat unless you put yourself in a position to.

You’ve read the title.  You all know how I feel about punishing people for infidelity.  This case is an example of how these laws need to be cleaned up off of the books.  I’m so appalled about this that instead of doing a post here, I’m going to write an Op-Ed. Hopefully it’ll get published.

Today one of of Tiger’s attention-craving mistresses, Joslyn James, launched a website called sextingjoslynjames.com.  I tried to visit the website, but it probably won’t load for now due to the heavy web traffic.  Until then, check out this Dscriber.  Tiger’s a naughty boy.

According to the Chicago Tribune, James, also known as Veronica Siwik-Daniels, using the website to generate publicity for herself.  The website says:

“Veronica is looking forward to the next chapter in her exciting career. Fans are encouraged to keep checking back here for future plans and sometimes controversial announcements,” the site states.

It’ll be interested to see how the Master’s Tournament treats him as they like to keep a low profile.

Tiger you put how much work into perfecting your game?  You also have to put in work to perfect a relationship.  Discipline is something you should know all too well.

AshleyMadisonSucks.com – I listed them as a third party because these are people that wanted to cheat, but only had a bad experience on the site.  I’m not convinced that they would have still thought the site sucked if they got what they bargained for.

Craig’s List- Craig’s List has been trying to purge their site of prostitutes (a federal indictment certainly helps). There’s obviously plenty of good that can come from the site, but we know that people often use it, like Facebook, for evil.

Meet Mayor Carl Camon (L) and Ray McBerry (R) (ideologically and in the picture above).  Both are running for Governor of the great state of Georgia.  Despite being members of different parties, it appears that they have similar tastes in women.

There are allegations that Camon, as a HS teacher, made the following comments to students:

• One student alleged that Camon “told her he wanted to take her home and ‘beat it up’ (i.e. have sex).”
• Another student reported that “when she told the educator that his girth was getting bigger, the educator responded that something else was getting bigger too.”
• Another “recalled that the educator had asked her if she was a virgin, and that the educator had often expressed displeasure that she had boyfriends.”
• Another “reported that she had witnessed the educator tell a female student that he would take her home and give her a whipping.”
• And several students said Camon told them that he could see their breasts, or up their skirts.

Camon defends on the ground that he only told students to “correct your dress.”  He eventually quit the position rather than be suspended.

Similarly, McBerry, as a Sunday School and HS teacher, alleged was romantically involved with a student.  She claims that he kissed her, fondled her breasts, and gave her a cell phone. Naturally, McBerry denies. Here’s how the story ends

The girl’s parents had subsequently tried to have McBerry arrested, and a judge warned him not to have any contact with the girl for six months. But McBerry was seen again meeting with the girl, though they were in separate cars. McBerry admits that when questioned about this by school administrators, he deliberately lied about the meeting, out of “panic.”

McBerry denied to investigators that he had acted in an in appropriate way with the girl, suggesting he was acting as a counselor and mentor. In the end, McBerry’s teaching certificate was suspended for a week. He had resigned from the high school he taught at when the allegations were first brought.

(Assuming that these guys did this) All I can say is keep your perverse thoughts and hands to yourself sirs. It’s actually easier than you think.  It all starts with a word called desire.
