You really thought that being a man of God stopped people from cheating? You should know better than that. Just look at Messy Jesse Jackson. Today’s next man to take the walk of shame is Pastor Paul Sheppard. He resigned from his post at Enduring Truth Ministries. According to the website:
Dear Friend of Enduring Truth,
As many of you may or may not know, Pastor Paul Sheppard recently resigned as an officer and speaker for Enduring Truth Ministries due to moral failure. We’re all deeply saddened by these events. We ask that you remember him and his family in prayer during this trying time.
We wish to thank all of you for your prayerful and financial support of this ministry over the years. End of year giving statements will be mailed by January 31, 2010. After December 31st, 2009, you can call 877-95TRUTH for issues with orders.
By Grace,
Enduring Truth Ministries Staff
What a shame. It’s one thing to let people down when you are a role model, but it’s even worse when you’re role is to lead people to God. Apparently the Ten Commandments, Matthew 5:27-30, etc. mean nothing to him.

It takes a real man of God to admit the truth and it takes a hopeless failure to expose a man of honor and truth, You say practice what you preach but do you “Preach what you practic???? It’s ok for editors, writers,and people who work a normal 9 to 5 job to mess up why because there human, what about this man, is he not human? I’m really tired of sad cases of ture un informed people putting there 2 cents in about something they no absolutely nothing about, this man has went thru restoration! and is now back conituing in the work that God has given him …. Pastor Paul Sheppard is Human just like everyone …. You can quote scripture but you know no bible at all Romans 3:10 (NKJV) 10 As it is written: There is none righteous, no, not one;
Initially I was upset that he put himself in that situation, but I have forgiven him. At least he admitted his wrongdoing and stepped down to get himself together. It takes a strong man to do that. He’s back spreading the word as he should. He lead by example. Besides, it’s not the man that you should idolize, it’s God. Get outta her with that corny article.
Every person makes mistakes and many people cannot control them. Infidelity, however is 100% controllable and in a man’s hands. Certainly, people can learn from their mistakes, but people should always question what the hell they were thinking in the first place. We’re not talking about a 20-year-old out on the town here.
